Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)

The Yuma County Airport Authority has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with 49 CFR Part 26. The Yuma International Airport anticipates receiving Federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation (DOT) for projects during the period of Federal Fiscal Years 2022-2024 and, as a condition of receiving this assistance, must comply with 49 CFR Part 26.

A twice amended DBE Goal & Methodology Report is included below reflecting projects the YCAA expects to utilize BIL funding. Based on the nature of and anticipated funding for the two BIL projects identified on the Airport's updated ACIP from May 2022, and again in January 2023. The amended established DBE goal is 3.96%.

Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE)

The Yuma County Airport Authority has established an Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Program in accordance with 49 CFR Part 23. The Yuma International Airport anticipates receiving Federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation (DOT) for projects during the period of Federal Fiscal Years 2023-2025 and, as a condition of receiving this assistance, must comply with 49 CFR Part 23.

The Airport has established an overall annual goal for non-car rental ACDBE participation of 0.01% of the total dollar amount of annual non-car rental concession revenues. The Airport has also established a car rental ACDBE goal of 1.21% of annual car rental concession revenues. The Airport is seeking information that may further advise this goal-setting process, including but not limited to: the availability of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses in the Yuma market area and barriers or impediments that may impact an ACDBE firm’s entry into the Yuma market area.
